Who we are

Asli In Wonderland is an independent, Copenhagen-based art studio run by a single person (that's me, Asli). This policy explains what happens with your information when you visit this website or use the contact form. If you have any questions, reach out at [email protected].

What I collect

This website itself does not track you, and does not ask for any personal information unless you choose to give it. There are two ways to reach out from the FAQ page: messaging us on Etsy (which this website never sees — that conversation is entirely between you and Etsy, under Etsy's own privacy policy), or the contact form below, which is the only place this website itself collects anything. There, I ask for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your message
• An order number, if you include one (optional)

I use this only to answer your question or help with whatever you've reached out about. Nothing more is collected automatically — no analytics, no advertising trackers, no tracking cookies.

How your message is handled

When you submit the form, your message is saved in a database hosted on Microsoft Azure, and I get a notification by email (sent through Google's mail servers) so I actually see it. I'm a solo artist, not an IT department — messages are sent over an encrypted connection, but I can't promise the kind of enterprise-grade security a large company might offer. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information (like payment details — those always stay on Etsy, never here) through the contact form.

Who else sees it

Nobody but me. Microsoft (hosting) and Google (email delivery) process the data on my behalf simply by storing or transmitting it — they don't use it for anything of their own. I don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone else.

How long I keep it

I keep contact messages for as long as it takes to sort out your enquiry, and generally delete them within 12 months afterwards. You can ask me to delete your message sooner at any time — just email me.

Your rights

Under the Danish Data Protection Act and the GDPR, you have the right to ask what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it's used. Email [email protected] and I'll sort it out. If you're ever unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

Cookies

This site doesn't use cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics.

Purchases

Some products can be purchased directly on this website; others link out to my Etsy shop. Etsy purchases are handled entirely under Etsy's own privacy policy, not mine.

For purchases made directly here, payment is processed by Stripe - your card details go straight to Stripe and are never seen or stored by this website. I only receive your email address (to deliver your files and send a receipt), your name if you give it, and what you order - never your payment information. See Terms of Sale for how delivery and the right of withdrawal work.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
